Hello! I have several years of experience collaborating and accompanying and have worked with all levels and ages, from young children to graduate students to professionals. I've worked with vocalists, string players, brass players, and choirs, and can sightread and learn music quickly, no matter the style; I've performed song sets in vocal recitals, complete sonatas and character pieces, works of chamber music, and have played for competitive choirs. I enjoy collaborating and look forward to hearing from you!

Active soloist and chamber musician, pianist Margarita Rovenskaya has performed in the US and abroad, performing recitals in several community venues as well as recitals at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, at Steinway Hall, and at NYU Black Box Theatre. Winner of the Mary Smart International Concerto Competition, Westminster Piano Concerto Competition and Connecticut Young Artist Competition, Margarita has also performed and studied internationally at the Sulzbach-Rosenberg International Music Festival in Germany and the International Academy of Music at Castelnuovo di Garfagnana in Italy, as well as festivals such as the Summit Music Festival, PianoSummer at New Paltz, Beethoven Institute at Mannes, and Round Top Festival Institute, where she was the orchestral pianist of the US premier of Frank Ticheli’s Clarinet Concerto. In the summer of 2014, she ran and helped organize the international Summit Music Festival, where she also performed both solo and chamber music.

This past summer, Margarita was also a Piano Fellow at the Heifetz International Music Institute, where she coached and performed chamber music.
Born in Ukraine, Margarita Rovenskaya began her piano studies at the age of six. She is a graduate of MSM Pre-College, studying with Efrem Briskin, and received her Bachelor’s in Piano Performance at Oberlin Conservatory in May 2012, studying with Peter Takacs. She received her Master’s in Piano Studies with Eteri Andjaparidze at New York University in May 2014, where she also served as Adjunct Piano Faculty. She is currently based in New York, where she is piano faculty at several studios and schools.
