Martin Fišl was born in 1980 in Brno, Czech Republic. He graduated at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (prof. Emil Leichner). In 2001 he participated at the Leos Janacek Competition and he won 2nd price and the “Best performance of Bohuslav Martinu’s work” Award. In 1996 he became the finalist of the Salt Lake City Piano Competition in U.S.A. He regularly performs with orchestras.

In 2002 he made a two weeks solo concert tours in Italy, in 2003 he performed in England and France. In 2004 he participated at two concert tours in Spain, Portugal and Italy with a solo piano repertoire and piano-violin duo with excellent Czech violinist Jakub Sedlacek.

Since 2005 he cooperates with the Czech Boys Choir Boni Pueri on concerts and concert tours in all Europe: Germany (Meistersinger Halle), Canada (Winspear Hall), Monteral (Pollack Hall), China (Shanghai Hall)…

From 1994 he is regularly performing the premières of contemporary Czech authors’ compositions and making recordings for the Czech Radio.
