Melissa Morris (MMus BMus Hons LRSM) graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire with a 1st class honours degree in 2005 and was awarded Distinction LRSM for piano performance the same year.

Following a Erasmus Programme of study at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Weimar, Germany she was awarded the Weingarten Scholarship and spent a year studying at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. In 2008 Melissa returned to complete her Masters at Birmingham Conservatoire studying with Philip Martin and Victor Sangiorgio.

Melissa has over 10 years of accompanying experience working with amateurs to professionals, from graded exams to professional recitals and regularly performs with her violin and piano duo to Music Societies around the UK.

She is available to play for:
Recitals (Duo and Chamber Music)
Auditions and Exams (Graduate and Postgraduate Level)
ABRSM and Trinity Exams (and other)
Festivals
Session Recording
Competitions

Accompanying:
Any instrument or voice (solo or chamber)

Comfortable in all styles:
classical, contemporary, jazz, pop, music theatre and opera

Melissa is also active as rehearsal pianist for various choirs in the Midlands, plays for Birmingham Royal Ballet, DanceXchange and Elmurst School for Dance as ballet pianist and enjoys a thriving network of private piano students.

£ 40.00 Pounds Per Hour
For exam accompaniment fees are negotiated according to grade/level requirements.
For recital engagements fees may vary. Please feel free to call and discuss.
