Ms Nancy Li is an accomplished pianist and educator with an impressive international background in music performance and pedagogy. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano Performance from the highly acclaimed Manhattan School of Music in New York City and a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Toronto (St. George campus). Her foundational training began at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore, where she studied piano under Dr. Siaw Sing Koo and Professor Albert Tiu, and violin under Professor Qian Zhou.
Recognized for her academic and musical excellence, Nancy was awarded a Merit Scholarship upon admission to Manhattan School of Music, and later, the prestigious University of Toronto Fellowship. At the Manhattan School of Music, she was named to the Dean’s List for three consecutive years, a testament to her consistent high achievement.
Nancy has performed in a wide range of prestigious venues and events. In 2017, she appeared in CantoPop singer Peggy Liu’s concert at Flato Markham Theatre, and in 2018, she performed a chamber piece with an oboist at the Women’s Musical Club of Toronto, under the WMCT Foundation, held at Verity Member’s Lounge. She was a finalist in the 2013 Eisenberg-Fried Concerto Competition (Manhattan School of Music) and the 2010 Singapore International Chopin Competition. Her chamber and solo performance experience also includes participation in masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Anton Nel, Thomas Hecht, Musicians of Marlboro, and Trio Jean Paul.
As an educator, Nancy is the founder of Nancy Li’s Piano and Violin Music Studio, where she mentors students of all ages and skill levels. Her students have gone on to achieve notable success: in 2025, her student Gabriel won 1st Prize at the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition; in 2022, she coached a student to win 1st place in the French Student Idol Competition at One World International School.
Nancy also serves as a piano adjudicator for the 2025 happy Music Festival, the annual Interscholastic Association for Southeast Asian Schools (IASAS) festival hosted by the Singapore American School. She has collaborated with the school’s music department, accompanying Senior Recitals and the Advanced Topic Performing Arts Course.

Rehearsals are essential for a flawless event. A minimum of 2 rehearsals will be required. All accompaniment and performance will be charged at $150/hour and $150/performance.
