New York Piano School offers PIANO ACCOMPANIMENT and PIANO ACCOMPANIMENT TRAINING as well as PIANO LESSONS for all ages and levels.
We service Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Long Island NY.
1 hour, 45, and 30 min lessons are available.
$60/h, $50/45min, $40/30min session.

Piano Accompaniment:

Our staff accompanists adore working with singers and instrumentalists! They accompany lessons, auditions, competitions, recitals, and recordings. Musicians that work with New York Piano School always succeed at auditions and competitions.

Our accompanists play classical, vocal repertoire as well as musical theatre, early and contemporary music. Also, they do in-depth analysis of musical scores and context, in order to develop, communicate and perform educated interpretations.

Accompanist Training:

Would you like to quickly improve your sight-reading skills and easily sight-read difficult contemporary music? Would you like to learn how to enhance your musicianship and become an excellent ensemble partner? Would you like to learn how to anticipate a soloist`s musical interpretation?

Teachers of New York Piano School studied with outstanding professors and brilliant piano accompanists, who performed with famous musicians of Russia and Europe. Our instructors have learned the mastery of professional accompaniment that they would like to share with you!

Our professionals can teach you how to prepare your accompaniment for any audition, recital, recording with a last minute notice. They can teach you how to perform with a soloist after only one rehearsal or without any rehearsal at all… Also they can give you some tips on how to work with a conductor or choirmaster. Our teachers can prepare you for any recital and exam at your school, competition, recording, etc. They can teach you how to “breathe the same air” with a soloist and to be a flexible partner. They can teach you how to be a leader and feel your enormous importance as a collaborative artist!
