Nicky Sim is a young pianist and clarinettist based in Edinburgh, currently studying under Jake Spence. He is an active performer, having played at both the Edinburgh International Festival and Fringe Festival, and in venues such as the Usher Hall, St Giles and St Mary’s Cathedrals and Reid Hall. He takes an eclectic approach to music-making, with a diverse classical repertoire spanning Bach to Schoenberg and a keen focus on modern composers such as Glass and Ligeti. He is also a prospective student of the RNCM to study under Adam Swayne.
