I am a jazz pianist and keyboard player with over 16 years of experience accompanying singers and instrumental soloists. I have a bachelor's degree in music performance and I am classically trained from childhood, but my forte and passion is jazz, jazz fusion, and R&B/Soul music. I play by ear and I also read music (though I'll admit I am better with chord charts than grand-staff notation as far as sight-reading goes). I am known for having a sharp ear for complex chords and rhythms - having aced AP music theory in high school and every comparable class since, I can assure you that music theory is a definite strong point! I've also served as a musical director for a soul cover band, and I've had experience teaching and accompanying children at a music theater camp.

If you need more than just piano accompaniment, say a duo or trio for accompaniment - I am ready and able to provide that as well, for a higher but affordable price.
