Rachel Flicker is a collaborative pianist based in Washington DC while frequently performing in Maryland and Virginia. She is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland where she earned her Master of Music degree in Collaborative Piano under the direction of Professor Rita Sloan. Previously, she earned her Bachelor’s in Piano Performance at Penn State University under the direction of Dr. Timothy Shafer.
Rachel serves as the collaborative pianist for Dr. Jason Max Ferdinand’s Chamber Singers, Arlington Chorale, and Montgomery County Women’s Chorus. Rachel’s recent engagements include performing as staff pianist for Cévennes Lyriques in France and touring Portugal with Penn State’s Glee Club as their collaborative pianist. She also frequently performs with Annapolis Opera and Washington Opera Society. Rachel also has her own private studio of piano students in Maryland.
