Rae is a Young Steinway Artist that has won prizes in competitions including the Nuova Coppa Pianisti Competition, Sydney Eisteddfod Kawai Scholarship, Val Tidone Piano Competition, V International Subcarpathian Chopin Piano Competition, VIII Budapest International Chopin Competition, XIII Volodymyr Krainev Piano Competition, XII International Piano Competition for Young Pianists in memory of Vladimir Horowitz, XXI International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth, Jeune Chopin International Piano Competition,10th Edition Young Pianist of the North Upon Tyne Competition, the 35th Città di Barletta International Competition, Concorso Pianistico Internazionale Recondite Armonie, and the Piano Island Festival and Competition.

In 2024, Rae released her debut full-length album “Piano Sonatas” alongside several EPs that were selected to be on Spotify’s editorial playlist “Classical New Releases”, with her discography including a second album “Wisteria Lights” in 2026. Her versatility and musical curiosity has driven her to work with orchestras all over the world, such as the Danube Symphony Orchestra, Dohnányi Symphony Orchestra Budafok, Orchestra Filarmonica della Calabria, Toruń Symphony Orchestra, Academic Symphony Orchestra of Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic, Orchestra of Music Makers, the Philharmonic Orchestra at the University of Alicante, Orquesta de Cámara, The Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine and more.
Rae has studied under an exceptional lineage of artists and pedagogues, including Boris Petrushansky, a student of the legendary Heinrich Neuhaus; former Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition Jury President Andrzej
Jasiński; 2001 Van Cliburn Gold Medalist Stanislav Ioudenitch; Gilmore Artist Award recipient Ingrid Fliter; and Albert Tiu, Head of Piano Studies at
Singapore’s Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. She also studied orchestral conducting under Marco Boni, Honorary Conductor of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. At the age of twenty-two, she graduated with a full score and highest honors from her Master’s Degree in Piano at the Fondazione Accademia Internazionale di Imola in Italy.
