Additional Info:

Hello, I am Ryan Faas, a Jazz Pianist, Composer, Music Teacher, and Accompanist living in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.

I graduated years ago with a Bachelor's of Music degree, focusing on jazz piano, from the University of Alberta.
Spent that time studying with with prominent Edmonton jazz pianist Chris Andrew, and then another two years with Rob Thompson, also an Edmonton jazz pianist.

I also had the opportunity to study under Sandro Dominelli, Rubim de T'ledo, Mike Lent, David Wall and Joel Gray, other prominent Canadian jazz musicians and composers.

I have spent the last twenty years living in Langley/Vancouver working as a solo jazz pianist for different gigs around the lower mainland, and teaching music lessons. I have my own private teaching studio where I conduct lessons.
The last decade has been busy raising young kids, but I'm always willing and able to accompany a vocalist or other instrumentalist for whatever performance they are needing.

If you're a student at any of the local fine arts schools needing accompaniment for performances or grading, or perhaps you've got a gig and are in need of some keys let me know. If there is a lead sheet I can play it for you.

Cheers
Ryan
