Hello, My name is Sarah Watkins

-Performer, Accompanist, Teacher, Composer-

I started playing piano at the age of seven and have been playing for 14 years+. I studied with a private teacher for 11 years and then took lessons at the Lavigne School of Music. I am currently studying piano performance at Montgomery College. I received a full scholarship and am very great-ful seeing where God has me right now; I am studying piano performance and my goal is to be a concert pianist and travel the world. I actually have had my first official concert which was January 3rd 2012. I am in the process of auditioning to Peabody Conservatory, UMD, UMBC, George Mason University, and Shepherd University.

I have been teaching piano 4 years, always looking for more students! (Along with 14+ years of learning to read music, I also play by ear and compose as well as teach kids/adults how to use their imagination to create their own compositions- resulting in beautiful melodies)

I have much experience playing at corporate events, weddings/ceremonies, receptions, church services, singing accompaniments, and several other occasions. One of my most recent memorable events would be in Washington, Dc area, accompanying a famous singer and her vocal students in their concert.

I compose my own music as well as play Movements from Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Debussy, and Chopin. I can play almost any song I hear by ear and accompany to a very experienced level.
