I did my postgraduate study in collaborative playing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, followed by a Junior Fellowship at the Royal Scottish Academy.
Since then I have been based in London and have partnered Paul Hamburger, Elizabeth Watts (BathMozart and north Norfolk Festivals) Philip Smith, Ameral Gunson. Some venues I have played at include Linbury Studio, Royal Opera House, St James’s, Piccadilly, Fairfield Halls (Rio Grande and Song Recital), Blackheath Halls (Opera gala with Nicky Spence). I have given live radio broadcasts and worked on Channel Five’s The Singing Estate (2006).
I particularly collaborative recital work, vocal coaching and playing for rehearsals of opera or musical theatre.
Prizes include the GSMD’s Accompanist Prize and the Megan Foster Prize, for the Maggie Teyte Prize.
