Sophie Thomas is an accomplished performer, teacher and musical director with an extensive background spanning multiple disciplines. With over 25 years experience, Sophie has developed a rich and dynamic career as a classical pianist and violinist, musical theatre performer and vocalist.

In addition to her performing career, she has excelled as a musical director, accompanist and vocal coach, earning nominations for Green Room Awards and recognition from peers and mentors. During her formative years, her talent as a classical musician has also been celebrated through numerous competition and eisteddfod awards.

Sophie is deeply committed to music education, serving as a Singing Examiner for the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) and is an experienced teacher of the AMEB Syllabus and VCE Music Performance, specialising in preparing students for examinations and auditions.

Sophie’s career reflects a rare combination of performance excellence, leadership, and educational expertise making her a trusted coach for aspiring musicians.
