I studied Piano and Organ from the age of 8 attaining ABRSM Grade 8 in both along with GCE A Level music theory with special emphasis on four-part choral harmony and composition. I'm now 47. I will perform recital work but am more inclined to work as an accompanist for choirs, soloists, operatic societies and orchestral settings. I have worked frequently as a Musical Director and have written and composed five musical cantatas for school choirs. Available as an organist for Weddings and Funerals and arrangements of specific music requests will be undertaken, bespoke for the occasion.. I am an excellent sight reader which allows me to perform at very short notice. One of my greatest experiences was to play the 1947 Steinway Concert Grand located in RCA Studio B recording studios in Nashville, Tennessee, as shown in the picture above. This is the same piano that was used by Elvis Presley, Floyd Cramer and used for occasional session recordings by Liberace. Also the same instrument that can be heard on recordings by Jim Reeves, Everley Brothers and so many more... You really feel like a giant when you play this historic piano
