Sun Kim is a distinguished collaborative pianist, composer, and dedicated music educator with over 25 years of professional experience. A versatile and highly respected artist, she has built a reputation for excellence through her work with diverse soloists, chamber ensembles, and choral organizations across international settings.

Ms. Kim completed her foundational musical studies in South Korea, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Music. She later moved to the United States to further her artistic development, earning a Master of Music degree on a full academic scholarship. During her graduate studies, she specialized in Piano Performance under Dr. Irena Kofman and Composition under Dr. Stuart Glazer.

Ms. Kim’s career reflects a rich international background in performance, collaboration, and composition:
• Actively involved in major music publishing projects as an arranger and score preparation specialist
• Serves as a recording coach for university senior recitals, providing expert guidance on advanced repertoire
• In South Korea, worked as a music educator, directed choirs, and served as a composition consultant for municipal choirs
• In Florida, collaborated as a pianist and arranger for the Florida Orchestra, establishing a strong foundation in orchestral arranging
• Her original arrangements and compositions continue to be performed by symphony orchestras and choral ensembles
• Currently based in Georgia, she serves as a collaborative pianist for multiple schools and collegiate choirs and directs a student band

A passionate and committed educator, Ms. Kim teaches with purpose, care, and integrity:
• Certified Hal Leonard Piano Instructor
• Active music educator within the Fulton and Gwinnett County schools
• Her students consistently demonstrate outstanding musical growth; notably, her students have received recognition at the State Piano Competition

Fees

-Accompaniment fees are determined based on the repertoire and its level and will be agreed upon after discussion.
-Travel fees may apply for locations beyond a reasonable distance.
