Tania Rivers-Moore has performed jointly with Yo-Yo Ma, in a masterclass for Lang Lang, and in Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall as a laureate of the New Tang Dynasty International Piano Copmetition. She was the youngest of eight pianists selected from across the US to participate in the Music Academy of the West's prestigious collaborative piano program. Tania received her Bachelors Degree in Neurobiology from Harvard College, where she is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in neuroscience and studied piano with Professor Alexander Korsantia, faculty member at the New England Conservatory.

Tania was described as a “prodigally gifted newcomer… of clearly star potential” by Bernard Jacobson of MusicWeb International following her performance of Beethoven's Choral Fantasy with the Bremerton Symphony in October 2010. Tania has won awards in the Washington State Outstanding Artist and MTNA Competitions, the University of Puget Sound Orchestra Concerto Competition, the Simon-Fiset Competition, the Seattle Bach Festival, and the Northwest Chopin Competition, and has been featured in a solo performance on Seattle's King FM Radio and an honors recital in the Washington State Music Teachers State Convention. She was one of three undergraduates selected to participate in a master class for Lang Lang at Harvard University.

An avid chamber musician, Tania participated in the Academy of Music Northwest for six years and in the Seattle Youth Symphony's scholarship program for two, performing in honors recitals at the Bellevue Art Museum, Frye Art Museum and Benaroya Hall's Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall. She has also performed as a keyboardist with the Harvard-
Radcliffe Orchestra, the Seattle Youth Symphony, the Marrowstone Summer Festival Orchestra, the Academy of Music Northwest Chamber Orchestra, the Bremerton Symphony and the student-coordinated Eastside Project Chamber Orchestra and Choir. Tania currently accompanies for the American Repertory Theatre and the Radcliffe Choral Society. She serves on the board of the Harvard College Piano Society and works as an intern at the Conservatory Lab Charter School.

Tania was invited to the Marrowstone Music Festival in 2007, where she studied with Jeffrey Gilliam. She returned in 2010 on full scholarship as a piano fellow, in an intensive program of accompanying, chamber music, and orchestral playing. She has also received instruction from Lynda Metelsky at the International Institute for Young Musician, Martin Canin at Bowdoin International Music Festival, Deirdre O’Donohue at the Adamant Music School, and John Perry at the Orford Festival.

Tania is a member of the the Harvard Student Council for MESDA (Music Education for Social Development Agency), an endeavor which took her to Cange, Haiti, to teach piano workshops to students from the Holy Trinity Music School in the summer of 2012. She has organized classical student benefit concerts for several nonprofit organizations, including
Friends of the Orphans and Opal House.
