Based in Wilmslow, Cheshire and working throughout the North West, I am an experienced Accompanist. A substantial part of my work is playing for examinations; be that dance examinations or accompanying Musicians for their Instrumental, Voice and Musical Theatre examinations and Auditions.
I have set fees for accompanying in such circumstances which include a rehearsal before the day, one on the day (where facilities allow) and the Examination itself.

I also accompany Ballet examinations and am familiar with the current ISTD and RAD syllabuses.

I regularly work with a variety of performers across the North West, whether solo or group, professional or amateur. I accompany for Auditions, Rehearsals, Concerts, Recitals, Musical Theatre performances and Festivals in a wide variety of genres. Although, I would always prefer to have the music to practice, I can obviously sight read when necessary.

I started playing the piano at the age of 8 and studied at Wells Cathedral School and Kingston University and gained a Distinction at Diploma level (ABRSM) .

I also offer Piano and Music Theory tuition from my home. I teach the Piano from beginner to Diploma level and teach both Adults and Children.

Fees

£25 is usually my standard hourly rate for rehearsals but please call me to discuss your requirements.
My exam fees are:
Grade: 1-3 £20
Grade: 4-5 £25
Grade: 6-7 £30
Grade: 8 £40
Diploma: on application.
These rates are for the exam and a rehearsal on the day where a piano is available. Extra rehearsals are charged at £6 per quarter hour.
