Chan Wei Tuck earned his Bachelors, Masters, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in piano performance from West Virginia University. He was awarded the Fine Arts Scholarship for his undergraduate studies and a graduate assistantship in piano technology for his doctoral studies. His principal piano teachers were James Miltenberger, Christine Kefferstan, and Lee Yin Hwa. His musical formation was further enhanced in masterclasses by Tan Siok Lian, Ng Chong Lim, Scott Beard, Lisa Emenheiser, Julie Bees, Stephan Möller, and Murray McLachlan. He studied electroacoustic composition with David Taddie.
Accompaniment experiences include vocal competitions, choir ensemble performances, instrumental recital and concert performances, and in juries and examination settings.
