Yee Jian is a Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL) in piano performance and was the champion of VIVACE National Piano Ensemble Competition for Tertiary Institutions in Singapore in 2017. He graduated from Raffles Institution as the top in Music and has more than 10 years of experience in accompaniment a range of instruments including vocal, violin and Double Bass, in exams ranging from O-Level Higher Music to ABRSM Grade 8 and ATCL in Voice. He is also an avid chamber musician during his free time.

Yee Jian has a great musical sense and is always passionate about creating music with the soloist. He has taken masterclasses and private lessons under Benjamin Loh, Loo Bang Hean and Yao Xiaoyun. As a soloist, he has won top prizes in competitions such as the Cristofori Piano Competition (Open Category) 2014 and the 14th Hong Kong Asia-Pacific Piano Competition (Malaysian Preliminary Round).
