Pianist Wade Meyers began his musical studies with Larry Minsky and Lise Godbout, and first drew notice as a winner of the 2004 Florida Young Artists Concerto Competition, performing Kabalevsky's Third Piano Concerto as soloist with orchestra. In the years since, he has performed as soloist and collaborator across the United States and abroad, including a guest-artist appearance at Seminole State College and solo performances in Paris, France and Vienna, Austria. He has also performed music by Quapaw composer Louis W. Ballard at the Quapaw Nation's annual pow-wow in 2015.

His collaborative work includes recitals with members of the National Symphony Orchestra and faculty of the Peabody and Oberlin Conservatories, collaborations at the Community College of Baltimore County, and recitals with students at every level, from elementary school through doctoral candidates.

He is a founding member of the new music ensemble Balance Campaign, which held a residency at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, presenting concerts, composer workshops, and readings of student compositions. As a composer, his original compositions have been performed on three continents.

For roughly two decades, Wade has directed music in churches across the Presbyterian, Lutheran, Catholic, and Anglican traditions. He served as Director of Music and Worship Arts for Gaithersburg Presbyterian Church—one of the largest and most diverse music ministries in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area—and as choir teacher at Washington Christian Academy, directing the grades 3–12 choirs. In musical theater, he has played for productions of The Fantasticks, Assassins, Little Shop of Horrors, Legally Blonde, School of Rock, and Babes in Toyland, among others, and he performed as a soloist on the soundtrack for the film St. Gertrude.

Wade earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Stetson University as a scholarship student of Steinway Artist Michael Rickman, studying organ and harpsichord with Boyd Jones, composition with Manuel de Murga, conducting with Anthony Hose, and classical and jazz improvisation with Harold Blanchard. He was awarded the William E. Duckwitz Talent Scholarship and inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society. A committed advocate for new music, he co-founded New Music Machine at Stetson, promoting and performing art music written after 1950. He completed a Master of Music in Piano Performance at George Mason University under Anna Balakerskaia, a lineage that traces through Alexander Siloti to Franz Liszt, where he won their 2012 Concerto Competition and Achievement Award for 'outstanding accomplishments in advanced professional study.'

He has further broadened his training with lessons in tango piano, tango arrangement, and tango composition with Latin Grammy winner Pablo Estigarribia; Irish traditional music with Lexie Boatright; voice with Carol Westcott; sacred music and liturgy with Lynn Monkres; and, carillon with John Widmann, City Carillonneur of Frederick, Maryland.
