Christa is an in-demand freelance accompanist and pianist with over 35 years' experience across ballet, dance, vocal, instrumental and performance settings.An outstanding ballet pianist, she is a regular accompanist for the Royal Ballet School and Birmingham Royal Ballet (Dance Track and Next Gen), and has also worked with Elmhurst Ballet School, GradPro, Midland Theatre Ballet, BBO Dance and English Youth Ballet. An exceptional sight-reader with an extensive repertoire, she is renowned for her musical sensitivity, versatility and ability to inspire performers of all ages and abilities.
Alongside her accompanying work, Christa is a Rock & Pop examiner for Trinity College London and has extensive experience accompanying singers, choirs, instrumentalists, auditions, examinations and concerts. She also performs regularly as a cocktail and event pianist at weddings, luxury venues and corporate events.
Christa holds a BA (Hons) in Music, a PGCE in Secondary Music, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and Grade 8 Distinctions in both Piano and Oboe.
