I am a second-year student at Haverford College studying music and mathematics.
In high school, I frequently accompanied ensembles, most often choirs, including PMEA District 11 Choir (2017-2019), PMEA Region 6 Choir (2017-2018), PMEA All-State Choir (2017), PMEA All-State Concert Band (2018), NAfME All-Eastern Orchestra (2019), and various school ensembles, including one year in a jazz band.
From 8th to 12th grades, I played keyboard synth for school musical pit orchestras (shows in chronological order): Les Miserables, Big Fish, The Secret Garden, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Spamalot.
In college I have played in chamber ensembles, including two piano trios (the first performed selections of Clara Schumann’s and Germaine Tailleferre’s trios, the second the whole of Dmitri Shostakovich’s E minor trio) and a piano duo (playing Darius Milhaud’s Scaramouche). I also performed a virtual, interactive piano concert reflecting upon the climate crisis and the pandemic in April 2020.
I have a DipABRSM in Piano Performance (awarded in 2018). I am also a composer with some experience with electronics and multimedia work, and I additionally play the viola at an intermediate level and was principal violist in school orchestra throughout high school.
