Additional Info:

I am a young keyboardist (piano, harpsichord, electronic keyboards) with 9 years of experience with various forms of accompanying/collaborative keyboard work. Currently I am the Collaborative Pianist for the avocational choir Coroallegro in Wilmington, Delaware. I love collaborating with other performers and am eager to make music with you!

This spring, I graduated from Haverford College with a B.A. in music (with honors) and in mathematics. In college I played in chamber ensembles, including two piano trios (the first performed selections of Clara Schumann’s and Germaine Tailleferre’s trios, the second the whole of Dmitri Shostakovich’s E minor trio) and two piano duos (playing Darius Milhaud’s Scaramouche and the Finale Curt Cacioppo’s Piano Variations on Hail to the Chief).

More recently, I have studied harpsichord both as a solo and as an accompaniment instrument. In Dec. 2021, I performed on harpsichord with two other students who played violin and viola in Haverford College’s chamber music concert. We performed select movements from sonatas by Dietrich Buxtehude and by J.S. Bach/C.P.E. Bach. I have some familiarity with reading figured bass, enough to write out my own realization but not to improvise on the spot.

My solo performance experience includes my senior thesis recital, in which I performed a wide range of repertoire including Ludwig van Beethoven’s Op. 110 piano sonata, Gabriela Lena Frank’s Sonata Andina, and select movements of a suite by Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre (played on harpsichord), as well as my own composition, “fluxing, quivering, transforming,” which is a fusion of classical piano and performance art and narrates my intertwined journeys of my gender identity and my mental health. In April 2020, I performed a virtual, interactive piano concert, reinterpreting UK-based composer Lola Perrin’s Significantus to reflect upon collective care within the climate crisis and the pandemic.

In high school, I frequently accompanied ensembles, most often choirs, including PMEA District 11 Choir (2017-2019), PMEA Region 6 Choir (2017-2018), PMEA All-State Choir (2017), PMEA All-State Concert Band (2018), NAfME All-Eastern Orchestra (2019), and various school ensembles, including one year in a jazz band.

From 8th to 12th grades, I played keyboard synth for school musical pit orchestras (shows in chronological order): Les Miserables, Big Fish, The Secret Garden, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Spamalot. Multiple times I played the primary Keyboard 1 part.

I have a DipABRSM in Piano Performance (awarded in 2018). I am also a composer, vocalist, and violist.
