Bisley Ladies Choir ("BLC"), a small Ladies Choir (25 to 30 members), is currently looking for an Accompanist to start working with us in January 2015. The choir meets on Tuesday evenings in Knaphill, near Woking, Surrey, from 7.45 pm to 9.45 pm during term time. Our website shows clear directions to our rehearsal location. We’re looking for a capable, enthusiastic accompanist with excellent sight reading, score-reading and transposition skills. You will also accompany the choir in 2 concerts a year (July and Christmas), and on occasion at other performances during the year. A fee of £50 will be paid for each rehearsal session, and £100 for each concert/performance as appropriate. The JCC Thurnauer School of Music is looking for a part-time piano accompanist to play piano on the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 3:30-7:30pm and on Friday between 3:30-4:30pm. You can choose which days and hours you would like to play.
Piano accompanists will play for chamber groups, private lessons and chorus. You MUST have your own transportation. Pay is $25 an hour.
