The Indigo Singers, a mixed choir (30 members), is currently looking for an accompanist to start working with us immediately. The choir meets on Wednesday evenings at Oakley House, Bromley, Kent, from 7.30 pm to 9.30pm throughout the year. The choir sings a ‘balanced diversity’ of music from a variety of genres. We are looking for a capable, enthusiastic accompanist with excellent sight reading and score-reading skills. You will also accompany the choir at several performances each year, mostly at venues around the London Borough of Bromley, Kent. A negotiable fee will be paid for each rehearsal session, and for each concert/performance, as appropriate. Bisley Ladies Choir ("BLC"), a small Ladies Choir (25 to 30 members), is currently looking for an Accompanist to start working with us in January 2015. The choir meets on Tuesday evenings in Knaphill, near Woking, Surrey, from 7.45 pm to 9.45 pm during term time. Our website shows clear directions to our rehearsal location. We’re looking for a capable, enthusiastic accompanist with excellent sight reading, score-reading and transposition skills. You will also accompany the choir in 2 concerts a year (July and Christmas), and on occasion at other performances during the year. A fee of £50 will be paid for each rehearsal session, and £100 for each concert/performance as appropriate.
